Do you want to help Afghan refugees relocate to your community? We’d love for you to be a part of RAP 2.0, our redesigned refugee assistance program!
Recall that the first Refugee Assistance Program, which ran until 2019, connected YPFP members with refugee families who were relocating to the United States. That program has since been phased out. YPFP volunteers helped refugees adjust to their new surroundings by sharing information, offering support, and being a kind face.
With the influx of Afghan migrants, we decided it was high time to bring back this venerable institution. We’re currently working with some fantastic organizations to make sure our new neighbors get the help they need!
Please complete our survey by FRIDAY, October 8 if you’d want to take part or learn more.
