Founder & Executive Director - Bangladesh
Tafhimur founded Act for Displaced with an aim to engage young people in advocating for the most vulnerable group of people in the world and raise awareness on their rights. With over a decade of non-profit work in countries across Asia, he has developed strategic leadership and communication skills. With AFD, he aims to bring together young people to advocate for the displaced people.
Editor, Migration - Lebanon
A Canadian-Lebanese researcher, an Assistant Professor of Migration Studies at the Lebanese American University, a Fellow at University of London's Internal Displacement Research Program and a Scholar in Forced Displacement at University of Ottawa’s Human Rights Research and Education Centre. She holds a PhD in International Relations and Diplomacy with an emphasis on Asylum, Refugees and Security.
Editor, Humanitarian Law - Bangladesh
A Barrister-at-Law, called to the Bar at The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, he has had professional legal experience in various capacities in England, Bangladesh, The Netherlands and in Cambodia. He was a Lincoln’s Inn Scholar to both the International Criminal Court and the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia, where he worked in the prosecution trial and appeal teams respectively.

Retired American teacher and author of the book ‘HEAR ME’, a rare collection of interviews with Iranian, Syrian, Pakistani, Afghan, and Iraqi refugees, Greek nationals, and international volunteers of the refugee crisis. Whether it’s a 19-year-old Syrian who refuses to kill anyone, a poor Greek housewife, or a disillusioned ex-U.S. Marine, all suffer in a geo-political world indifferent to their cries for peace and justice.

Mr. Prabhpreet Singh is working as Assistant Professor of Law at Manipal University Jaipur. Pro-Bono Research Advisor South Ural State University, Russia. He’s also serving as an Editorial Board Member of Brazilian Journal of Alternative Dispute Resolution - RBADR. Currently, he’s pursuing a Ph.D. at School of Law, Manipal University Jaipur. He’s also a Reviewer in a journal entitled ‘International Relations and Diplomacy’.
